BOWA and Steve Kirstein Honored by Potomac Chamber

BOWA Steve Kirstein Business of the year Potomac Chamber of Commerce MarylandWe are thrilled to announce that BOWA and our own Steve Kirstein have been honored as Business and Business Person of the Year for 2011 by the Potomac Chamber of Commerce.

“As a long-time Potomac resident, this honor is particularly meaningful to me,” said Steve Kirstein, a principal at BOWA. “My family and I love this community, and I am thankful for having had the opportunity to work closely with so many Potomac families over the years.”

Winners are chosen from nominations and are selected based on the work they do in and the contributions they have made to the welfare of the community.

“Steve is an active member of the Chamber, and supporter of Autism Speaks, numerous local schools and many other Potomac charitable groups,” said Josh Baker, BOWA’s co-founder. “BOWA has a solid history of business and philanthropy in the community, but Steve’s profound commitment is what earned us this award.”

Kirstein and BOWA will be recognized at this year’s Potomac Day Parade to be held October 22, 2011 and at a Potomac Chamber Awards Dinner in November.
